Here’s mine. Back in 2022, I was staying overnight at my aunt’s house when I suddenly woke up to an intense light shining through the window. It was bright enough to pull me out of sleep. Still half-awake and confused, I sat up and looked outside. That’s when I saw what looked like a massive sphere hovering in the distance. I watched it for a while before it eventually moved toward the forest near my aunt’s house and disappeared from view. I never saw anything like it again. To this day, I still have no idea what I saw that night. Has anyone here experienced something similar?

On August 4, 1990, two hikers near Calvine, Scotland, reportedly witnessed a massive diamond-shaped object hovering silently in the sky. They managed to photograph it. The image would later become known as the Calvine UFO Photo—and eventually earn a reputation as one of the clearest and most mysterious UFO photographs ever associated with the United Kingdom. Then, it effectively disappeared. For more than three decades, the photograph remained out of public view, while stories surrounding the encounter continued to circulate. The absence of the original imagery only added to the mystery. That changed after British journalist and researcher David Clarke spent years investigating the case. After approximately 13 years of research, Clarke traced a surviving print to Craig Lindsay, a former Royal Air Force press officer who had preserved a copy for decades. In 2022—32 years after the original sighting—the famous image finally returned to public view. The photograph shows a sharply defined, diamond-shaped object suspended above the Scottish landscape, with what appears to be an aircraft visible in the distance. More than three decades after it was taken, the Calvine photograph remains one of the most recognizable images in British UFO history—and one of the rare cases where a supposedly lost piece of UFO evidence resurfaced decades later.

Core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, rose 0.2% month-over-month and 2.5% year-over-year, down from 2.6% in June. Shelter costs were the primary driver of July’s increase, accounting for roughly two-thirds of the monthly rise in overall inflation. Food prices edged higher, while falling energy costs — particularly gasoline prices — helped limit broader inflationary pressure.
